Portugal, located in the western part of the Iberian Peninsula, is famous for its charming coastal towns, delicious seafood, and rich history. Continue heading west to Porto, known for its famous Port wine and scenic Douro Valley, and visit Coimbra, a riverfront city in central Portugal and the country’s former capital, is home to a preserved medieval old town and the historic University of Coimbra. Built on the grounds of a former palace, the university is famed for its baroque library, the Biblioteca Joanina, and its 18th-century bell tower. After breakfast, depart for Coimbra, one of the oldest Universities in Europe and the birthplace of Fado. Enjoy some free time before continuing onto Fátima, which is the centre of the Christian Faith and World Pilgrimage Sanctuary with its impressive Basilica and the Cova da Iria Place where the Virgin Mary appeared. See the Chapel of the Apparitions, heart of the sanctuary, with the Tombs of the Three Shepherds, Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta. Tonight, there is the possibility to attend the Procession of the Candles.

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for the Batalha Monastery, a masterpiece of Gothic and Manueline style considered a World Heritage Place by UNESCO. Enjoy some free time and continue to Alcobaça (World Heritage) with its Gothic Church and Cistercian Monastery, whose origins date back to the XII Century. Continue to Lisbon for your overnight stay.

Then depart for the beautiful Spanish Mediterranean Coastal town of Costa del Sol.

After breakfast at the hotel, drive along the picturesque tourist route of Costa del Sol and arrive in Tarifa where a ferry boat will be used for a short and interesting crossing of the Strait of Gibraltar towards Africa. Arrival in Tangier, disembark, clear customs and drive southwards to Casablanca, the current industrial and economic capital and the most populated city housing a 10% of the country population.The remainder of the day is free at leisure. Enjoy a sightseeing tour including the Koutoubia Tower, twin tower of the Giralda in Seville, Saadines Tombs and Bay Palace, walk around the Medina, Souks and the magic Jma El Fna Square, which is packed with fortune tellers, snake tamers, acrobats and dancers, all making the centre of the city an Open-Air Theatre that requires the participation of the audience. Continue on to Meknes, an Old Walled Imperial City located in the heart of the Mid Atlas. Enjoy a guided tour to admire the great Bab Al Mansour Gate, Morocco's most beautiful gate and the most well known monument in town. Afterwards depart for Fès, the most monumental of the Imperial Cities with its University of 'Karaouyne' being the largest Islamic sanctuary in Morocco. Tonight, enjoy dinner at your hotel.
